Interim Director of Retail 📍 Birmingham (2 days per week) | Part-time / Fractional or Full-time | Start ASAP I\’m supporting a fast-growing beauty and wellness brand that\’s looking for an experienced Director of Retail to take ownership of their retail strategy and drive commercial success. Already stocked in a major UK retailer, the business is focused on strengthening this partnership and delivering a series of exciting new product launches. The Role Lead and manage retail partnerships, ensuring strong commercial performance and sustainable growth. Drive success of new product launches across in-store and online channels. Own the retail strategy, trade terms, and promotional planning to maximise brand visibility and performance. Build and maintain senior-level relationships within key retail partners. Work closely with internal teams across marketing, operations and NPD to align brand and retail objectives. Ideal Profile Proven experience as a Sales Director / Director of Retail / Senior National Account Manager within beauty, wellness, supplements, or skincare. Essential: previous experience working directly with Boots and a strong understanding of their commercial processes and ways of working. Strong track record of managing major UK retail accounts and delivering growth through collaborative partnerships. Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Available to start quickly and open to flexible arrangements – full-time, part-time, or fractional.
