HR Officer

Brackley, Northamptonshire

Our client are a large innovative business who due to growth are looking for a Senior HR Officer to work predominately within employee relations and also take on line management responsibility.

Supporting a medium sized workforce of c. 800 employees this is a fast-paced and high volume manufacturing environment and as a HR officer your duties include:

  • Taking ownership of employee relations cases from low level absence management to more complex disciplinaries and grievances
  • Line management of 2 HR advisors
  • Taking a proactive approach to employee relations matters working with managers and senior leadership team to address ongoing and upcoming issues
  • Working with management team to set KPIs to reduce absences across the workforce
  • Working with managers and the recruitment team to ensure headcount requirements are met
  • Assist in delivering training to managers for all HR matters

This is a full time permanent position working full time onsite at the offices in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

If you are an experienced HR Advisor looking to progress into a more senior position, taking lead and specialising within employee relations and have the opportunity to take on line management responsibilities this is an excellent opportunity.

For this role we are ideally looking for a CIPD qualification or someone with recent relevant experience indepdently handling ER cases with an in depth and up to date understanding of UK employment law.

You will be an excellent communicator and able to build trusting relationships with your management team quickly and be comfortable in challenging situations and handling conflicts. You will be methodical in your approach with excellent attention to detail even in times of volume and pace and pride yourself on time management skills.
