Are you an experienced HR Advisor specialising in employee relations looking to work in the Education sector?

I am happy to be partnering with a highly respected Education setting in Nottingham who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team with a range of excellent benefits available.

Reporting into a very experienced Head of HR, supported by a HR Administrator duties will include:

  • Being first point of contact for all of the settings employees including senior leadership team
  • Leading on employee relations cases and supporting management from investigations to hearings and appeals
  • Support and coach line managers with performance management
  • Manage flexible working requests
  • Providing thorough HR advise which complies with up to date employment law and the education settings policies, procedures and safeguarding
  • Supporting through recruitment lifecycle from job advertising to on-boarding and processing leavers
  • General HR Administration and keeping the HR database up to date

This is a full time permanent position where flexible working requests between 30-37.5 hours will be considered. Please note this role is based full time on site in Nottingham.

For this role we are looking for CIPD or equivalent qualified candidates who can demonstrate recent and relevant experience of independently handling ER cases and supporting senior management through ER and performance management cases. Prior experience within an Education is not essential but any prior experience within safeguarding or working with unions would be beneficial.

You will have an excellent understanding of UK employment law, be experienced across the recruitment lifecycle and be an advocate of employee wellbeing.
