This business is scaling rapidly, investing heavily in infrastructure and expanding its operational footprint nationwide, creating an opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to help shape the next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on position, reporting into senior finance leadership, with responsibility for the integrity and control of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment. You will lead a well-established accounting team, take ownership of a fast-paced month-end close, and act as the primary interface with external auditors and advisors.

The successful candidate will balance strong technical expertise with a practical, delivery-focused mindset. You'll play a key role in strengthening balance sheet control, ensuring statutory obligations are met, and improving processes so they can scale effectively alongside the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, developing and motivating a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
  • Owning the month-end close timetable and ensuring accurate, high-quality outputs
  • Producing statutory accounts and managing audit engagements end to end
  • Maintaining tight control over balance sheet integrity and accounting standards
