A well backed, expanding international group is looking to appoint a Tax Manager into its central finance team in North Hampshire (Hybrid - 3 days pw in office). The organisation operates across multiple jurisdictions and offers the chance to work in a commercially driven, evolving environment with meaningful exposure to senior decision makers. This position will suit a qualified tax professional looking to broaden their remit beyond pure compliance and take ownership of group wide tax matters and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing core UK corporate tax obligations and coordinating external providers where relevant
- Contributing to group statutory tax reporting under UK and international accounting standards
- Supporting and delivering a range of tax initiatives, including cross border matters and documentation projects
- Assisting with the development and upkeep of tax policies, controls, and governance frameworks
- Advising the wider finance function on tax implications across various business activities
- Keeping abreast of regulatory change and helping embed best practice across the group
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent) with post qualification experience in tax (CTA advantageous but not essential)
- Background from professional practice or an in house environment
- Solid knowledge of UK corporate tax; international exposure is helpful but not essential
- Pragmatic, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
