Our client, a successful and expanding business headquartered in South Birmingham, is seeking an experie nced, qualified accountant to join their senior finance team. This is a key position responsible for driving the group\’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and costing processes – providing critical insight to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities As Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following: Lead and manage the group\’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles. Develop and maintain robust costing models to improve visibility and control of margins and profitability. Partner with operational and commercial teams to challenge assumptions and drive performance improvements. Provide insightful analysis of financial results, trends, and variances across business units. Support the Finance Director and senior leadership team with strategic projects, scenario modelling, and business cases. Oversee and continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls. Manage and mentor members of the finance team, promoting best practice and professional development. Key Requirements For this Group Finance Mananager role you will be: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Strong technical and commercial finance background with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and costing. Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions. Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems advantageous. Degree in accountancy, economics, business or related topic. What\’s on Offer?
