The Cyber Security Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for acting as a technical lead on Cyber Security related opportunities within our client's organisation. The role focuses on supporting revenue growth efforts and delivering expert advice on cybersecurity solutions tailored to meet client needs. The individual will report to the Director of Pre-Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Cyber Security Sales Lead with key opportunities.
- Act as the Technical Authority for written and formal responses to opportunities at both client and tender response levels.
- Deliver on Technical Account Management, ensuring smooth implementation of Cyber Security services and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all sales activities and proposed solutions comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their environments and challenges, offering expert guidance to mitigate risk and exposure.
- Translate customer needs into compelling, high-quality, financially sound solutions, including Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Maintain visibility of cyber security industry trends and highlight areas of innovation for further investigation.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of consulting engagements.
- Implement proof-of-concept installations and conduct technical solution presentations and workshops.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, managing escalations and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal processes, quality assurance, and thought leadership.
- Support the company’s sustainability strategy.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the reporting manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of Security technologies and Cloud Architecture (Microsoft and AWS).
- Vendor experience/accreditations with any (or all) of the following: Microsoft, IBM, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, and Cisco.
- Pre-sales experience within the cyber security market.
- Experience contributing to the building of new routes to market.
