Birmingham based, hybrid, national travel between UK offices required. Are you passionate about shaping the future of the workplace? This is an exciting opportunity to join a global professional services firm during a period of change and transformation. We are looking for a forward-thinking Workplace Strategy & Property Manager to help redefine how the firm uses its space and supports its people.

The Role: Reporting to the Head of Facilities, this role goes far beyond day-to-day property management. While you'll oversee a UK building portfolio, the operational delivery is largely outsourced, giving you the space to focus on strategy, workplace experience, and how the firm should evolve its locations as the business grows internationally. You'll work closely with senior leadership to shape workplace vision, develop smarter and more efficient office environments, and ensure the firm gets the best from its consultants, contractors and cost advisors. With global activity expanding in Singapore and Saudi Arabia, this role will play a key part in helping the business adapt, optimise and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Strategy & Future Planning: Develop and define the firm's evolving workplace strategy as its UK footprint changes. Shape the vision for what the workplace should feel like - creating spaces that employees are proud of, moving towards high-impact, cost-effective environments. Analyse occupancy and utilisation data to understand how people use space and how it can be improved. Support the business in becoming more efficient and effective with existing space.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of a UK office portfolio. Manage lease events, rent reviews and agreements, with support from external consultants. Maintain and update lease diaries and support decision-making around future office needs.
  • Project Delivery & Supplier Management: Oversee external contractors, cost consultants and workplace specialists. Lead the delivery and execution of refurbishment, workplace improvements and office optimisation projects. Ensure consistency, quality and commercial value across all works.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with senior leaders across operations, HR, comms and the wider business. Build confidence and alignment through clear communication, engagement and influence. Act as a trusted advisor on workplace strategy and future office planning.

About You: You'll thrive in this role if you have: Strong occupier-side experience, ideally with exposure to workplace strategy and office transformation. A background in surveying or property management - RICS desirable but not essential. Experience working with outsourced suppliers and understanding how to get the best from them. Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and shaping their thinking. A balance of strategic capability with hands-on delivery oversight. An analytical mindset, able to interpret utilisation data and turn insights into recommendations.

What's on Offer: Competitive salary + annual bonus, GPP Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance (with wellness perks including gym discounts & health assessments), a broad suite of lifestyle and wellbeing benefits. The opportunity to play a defining role in shaping the future workplace of a growing global business.

If you're excited by the chance to influence workplace strategy, improve the everyday experience of colleagues, and guide a business through a period of evolution, we'd love to hear from you.

At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. We are proud to be a disability confident employer.
