Bid Manager – Complex Engineering Projects We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to take full ownership of the tender process for major engineering projects. Acting as the primary point of contact from tender launch through to contract award, you will ensure the delivery of fully compliant, commercially competitive and professionally presented bid submissions. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the complete tender preparation process, ensuring compliance with formal gated process controls Produce and submit approved tender documentation on time and within budget Act as the main internal and external communication link throughout the bid lifecycle Establish and manage the risk, exclusions and assumptions register, change control process and lessons learned register Allocate deliverables across multidisciplinary internal teams and, when required, lead 3rd-party bid contributors Define bid execution strategy, work breakdown structures and cash flow statements Coordinate labour estimates, validated supplier quotations and technical commentaries with engineering, procurement and manufacturing functions Maintain structured electronic data management and accurate database records in line with best practice Support process improvements and mentor junior members of the business winning team Experience
