Assistant Finance Manager – Planning & Reporting Are you looking to elevate your career in finance? Our client, a leading organisation in Burton is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role plays a key part in delivering financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts while supporting first-line business partnering for a specific area of the business. The Role: As Assistant Finance Manager, you will: Produce Financial Reports: Deliver weekly, periodic, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports, including financial and non-financial data, with accompanying top-line commentary and variance explanations. Oversee Budgets and Forecasts: Lead the preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts, collaborating with budget holders. Ensure Data Integrity: Manage period-end processes, including journal reviews, accruals, and prepayments. Streamline Reporting Processes: Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to improve efficiency and reporting methods. Provide Business Insights: Support first-line business partnering with balanced service, efficiency, and standardization. Deliver Project Justifications: Prepare initial justifications for capital expenditure projects.As the Assistant Finance Manager, you will have: Qualifications: Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
