About the Role:
We are proud to be partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking company seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is either studying towards or recently completed their AAT (or equivalent) and looking to further their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
-
Supporting the accounts payable and receivable processes

Maintaining the general ledger and journal entries

Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax submissions

Liaising with external auditors and supporting year-end processes

Ad hoc financial reporting and support to the Financial Controller
Skills & Requirements:

AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA

Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar finance role

Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
