The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for leading the acquisition process from initial conception through to legal completion, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities Included
– Lead the acquisition of new High Streets and Shopping Centres stores across the UK.
– Collaborate with the Director of Property Portfolio to achieve the target of acquiring 100 stores per year.
– Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers and the retail team.
– Manage external relationships with landlords, agents, building surveyors, and solicitors.
– Provide strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Skills and Attributes
– Proven experience in property acquisition, either from an owner or occupier perspective.
– Strong understanding of the property market and key performance drivers.
– Excellent financial and qualitative analysis skills, demonstrated through prior achievements.
– Exceptional communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
– Full driving licence and a Hons Degree in Property or a related discipline.
