We\’re excited to be expanding our ESG team with a brand new opportunityfor a Social Value Delivery Partner, someone who is passionate about people, is purpose-driven, and thrives on making a real difference.
You’ll be working closely with our UK business units and clients to support our Project Leads to develop social impact plans and monitor and measure social value across our regional and local projects, ensuring that every project leaves a lasting legacy.
Working on a hybrid basis from our Global Headquarters in London, and reporting to our Senior Social Impact Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make your markin a role where your ideas, energy and leadership will directly shape the future of Gleeds’ social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our local Project Leads and clients to deliver social value strategies for multiple local projects
- Provide strategic oversight of UK social value delivery and inform best practice for social value
- Oversee the impact measurement and reporting of social value deliverables on local projects
- Support the appropriate communities and local authorities to deliver place-based impact
- Review and input into social value responses on local government and private sector tenders
- Support in the training and upskilling of our internal Social Value Champions network
- Provide guidance and insight to clients to enhance social value delivery on projects, and share best practice
- Work with the marketing team to create and promote community activities

Who we’re looking for
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills:
As Social Value Delivery Executive, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a good knowledge of social value delivery, performance measurement and reporting
- Be highly competent in MS Suite – especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational / time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in stakeholder management/community engagement and managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Can demonstrate a deep and broad understanding of legislative drivers of social value
- A self-starter with a high degree of energy, self-motivation and drive
- Demonstrable experience of supporting high-scoring tender responses
- Enthusiasm and ability to inspire, influence and engage a broad cross section of stakeholders, including good presentation skills
