Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cost Manager at Gleeds, located in Manchester with some work from home flexibility. As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing project costs from inception through to completion. Daily tasks include preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and cost reports, conducting cost analysis, and providing procurement advice. You will also be involved in the management of project budgets and acting as a point of contact for all cost-related matters to ensure financial efficiency and project success.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, and cost reporting
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial efficiency
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS) are advantageous
  • Experience in the construction or built environment sectors is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
