We're searching for a bids specialist to join our journey with Gleeds Built Asset Solutions as our national bid lead. You will be a key member of a national service line, playing an essential role in driving growth, momentum and future potential. Launched this year, Built Asset Solutions is a new multi-disciplinary offering from Gleeds, developed to optimise asset and estate performance through agile & innovative solutions, delivered by industry experts. Join a team of innovators where you’ll define the brand, shape the future and turn opportunities into winning outcomes. As Bid Management Lead, you’ll bring agile thinking, sharp judgement and collaborative leadership to every pursuit. Your role will include:

  • Proactive planning and pre-positioning for future bids
  • Advising and guiding senior stakeholders on bid strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance bid process, consulting with stakeholders for successful implementation
  • Market research and analysis, using key data & metrics to support bids and bid strategy
  • Research & horizon scanning, identifying future legislative & regulatory changes, emerging trends and market shifts

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for a people focused bid professional with a growth mindset who wants to play a key role in the continued development of a new service with an agile and innovative approach. You will have the ability to build clear brand recognition and expertly communicate the winning behaviours, values and capabilities that define Gleeds Built Asset Solutions through winning bids.

Prior experience in bid management within the construction sector, ideally in a large consultancy:

  • Experience successfully managing bids generating up to £1m fee revenue or with a value of over £100m construction cost
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation through the production of bespoke documentation
  • Experience planning and delivering bid planning workshops with multiple attendees and complex team structures
  • Experience delivering projects to meet or exceed multiple internal & external stakeholder expectations
  • Experience presenting to and consulting with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with data capture, and analysis, translating and communicating findings to inform decisions

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Marketing, design, creative writing) - desirable
  • Professionally qualified (APMP) - desirable
