The role
Ready to shape the future of Procurement and Supply Chain? At Gleeds, you can expect a varied workload and to play a significant role in the delivery of major infrastructure programmes. As a graduate procurement professional, you’ll have unlimited access to our experts, all with years of experience across the industry. They’ll guide you as you gain hands-on experience in strategy development, public procurement regulations, managing procurement processes, supplier relationship management and contract management.
Your role will encompass (but is not limited to) the following:
Our procurement professionals support some of the biggest projects and programmes and major blue-chip clients in the UK, through the full lifecycle of the procurement process.
- Supporting procurement managers in providing accurate and timely outputs.
- Supporting the development and implementation of commercial incentivisation models.
- Working with clients to understand their scope requirements.
- Assisting with strategy development, optioneering, and business case processes.
- Market analysis and engagement,
- Drafting procurement documentation and working with stakeholders to ensure all tender submission requirements are collated, ready to be issued to the market.
- Managing procurement processes, including clarifications, evaluation, and preparing outcomes reports.
- Supporting contract mobilisation and administration, including payments and client reporting.
- Contribute to high-quality service delivery across projects.
- Develop project and commercial management skills.
- Gain an understanding of different suites of contracts and contract options.
- Gain an understanding of the legislative framework and best practice.
- Be supported in continuous professional development.
What we’re looking for :

- Right to live and work in the UK
- A degree or masters (completed or completing by August 2026) within law, business, economics, procurement, supply chain or similar discipline.
