As a Quantity Surveyor at Gleeds, you’ll play a key role in the delivery and commercial success of major Infrastructure programmes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting commercial management of major infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Developing procurement strategies and managing contracts (NEC3/4) to ensure value and compliance
- Managing cost planning, forecasting, and reporting for high‑value works
- Overseeing risk, change control, and commercial governance
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best‑in‑class outcomes
- Providing leadership and mentoring to junior commercial staff
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager on major infrastructure projects – sector experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction law
- Excellent commercial acumen, communication skills, and client‑facing experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
