As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
- Support the delivery of high-quality services and outcomes.
- Assist Cost Managers in ensuring services are delivered accurately and on time.
- Help Cost Managers prepare cost estimates and conduct option studies.
- Contribute to the development of cost plans.
- Assist in performing cost-in-use studies.
- Aid in the preparation of tender documentation and manage the tender process, including designing evaluation criteria.
- Assist with the evaluation of tenders and the preparation of related reports.
- Support the valuation of completed work and facilitate payment processes.
- Contribute to the preparation and resolution of final accounts.
- Assist in managing the administration of construction contracts.
- Help prepare reports for clients.
- Successfully complete an RICS Degree Apprenticeship.
What does the Gleeds Apprenticeship Programme offer you?
Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the opportunity to study and obtain a Chartered Surveyor Degree level 6 Apprenticeship, whilst gaining direct experience. This includes on the job learning, mentorship, professional reviews, a dedicated development team and all the tools and support needed to be successful in your career!
You will follow the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship Standard. This apprenticeship runs over five years and includes studying for a BSc in Quantity Surveying.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will work towards qualifying as a Chartered Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

- GCSEs, grades A*-C including Maths and English at (grade 4) and above or equivalent.
- 104 – 120 (UCAS) points from 2 or 3 A levels, or equivalent.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Clear and effective communication skills – both oral and written.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes.
- Good ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
