Whether working on residential, commercial, or industrial sites, your skills will help bring architectural visions to life with precision and professionalism. *Duties* * Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings according to project specifications * Operate power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders safely and effectively * Perform roofing tasks by installing or repairing roof frameworks using appropriate materials and methods * Conduct heavy lifting of construction materials while adhering to safety protocols * Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects * Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly * Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or structural components * Assist with masonry work when required to support structural integrity or aesthetic finishes *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry role within construction or renovation settings is essential * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for carpentry tasks * Strong understanding of mechanical principles relevant to construction work * Skilled in roofing installation and repair methods * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics * Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred for site transportation needs * Familiarity with masonry work is advantageous but not mandatory * Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving abilities A minimum of 6 years of site experience is required, and you must be able to conduct all joinery tasks on your own, including roofs.
