Job Description

Gleam Games is looking for a talented Game Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of engaging and visually stunning mobile games. In this role, you will be involved in all stages of asset creation, from concept development to final rendering, working closely with designers, developers, and other artists.

This is a global role, requiring collaboration with international teams, and fluency in English is essential for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality in-game graphics, including characters, animals, environments, buildings, and other game elements.
  • Develop concept art and final rendered assets while maintaining the visual style of each project.
  • Collaborate with other departments (game design, development, and animation) to ensure cohesive visuals.
  • Adapt and refine assets based on feedback to meet game production needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in illustration or game art.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other digital painting tools.
  • Strong art portfolio showcasing high-quality 2D artwork.
  • Excellent understanding of character and environment design, including composition, anatomy, form, lighting, and color.
  • Experience in a similar role in game development.
  • Basic knowledge of 2D animation and 3D modeling is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile game development.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design for games.
  • Previous experience in game development companies and/or shipped game titles.
