Responsibilities
You will be working on our exciting and continuously growing brands Umbro and Amplified. The main focuses are to ensure the delivery schedule is adhered to against critical path and that delivery targets are met without compromising quality. This role is working alongside the account managers, designers and Head of Sourcing.
Amplified
- Briefing 3 rd party sourcing partners to create/design ranges
- Request costings and share internally
- Suggest fabrics or techniques for designs to keep ranges within targeted margins
- Request approval samples and protos
- After production is placed, send trim information to factory, follow up on production, approve pre-production and shipment samples
- Approver inspection reports
Umbro β supporting Head of Sourcing on projects
- Monitor Daily Production Tracker new POβs
- Adding sample requests onto the Daily Production Tracker
- Sending updated PT to each factory
- Keeping Production Tracker updated with all approval/rejected dates
- Tracking and ensuring that all Proto, SMS, PP samples, customer samples and shipment samples are running on time
- Check pre production samples and shipment samples then release after Inspection Reports are checked
- Updating HQ weekly with shipping approval and issues
- Keep costing folder, spec matrix up to date.
- Creating style codes on all Umbro Ranges and advising these to design or 3 rd party partners
- Start specs, keep them up-to-date then send to HQ for set-up on companies ERP
- Support Head of Sourcing with any administrative tasks such as factory registrations
Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Person Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years knowledge of apparel calendar management, fabric construction, development, manufacturing and production
- Knowledge of pricing and duty rates
- Detail oriented with strong follow through, ability to react quickly to change
- Prof iciency in Microsoft and web-based applications, able to use Adobe Applications preferred
- Have a flexible, focused and self-starting energy
