The role:
The Technical Specification Manager role is a targeted sales position reporting directly to the Commercial Director. You will be expected to proactively manage your designated sales territory, identifying sales opportunities and nurturing prospects, in order to secure specifications for our products and ultimately complete a sale. An important aspect of this role is developing relationships with key architectural practices and building contractors in your region. This is achieved by delivering CPD (Continuing Professional Development), site visits and consultation with your clients, helping them specify the correct product and fulfil their brief.
Your responsibilities:
- Meeting all sales targets
- Improve awareness of Glazing Vision and our online shop in your territory
- Identify key architects, builders and contractors throughout target area
- Identify large projects and developments being undertaken in targeted area
- Proactively develop new business opportunities in your territory
- Undertake CPD presentations (training provided)
- Represent Glazing Vision at corporate events
- Undertake pre‑order meetings on site
- Build strong and professional customer relationships
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge for Glazing Vision products and services
- Monitor and report competitor activity
- Develop knowledge of regulations and standards relevant to the industry
