Overall Role Or Purpose Of The Job

Provide training, coaching and support to operational teams on processes and procedures that comply with ISO9001, ISO14001 and H&S legislation (in conjunction with the Facilities Manager) and also ensure continuous improvement in all areas.

Responsible for all internal and external audits, ensuring adequate resources are in place and an audit timetable is maintained and communicated to the senior management team.

Maintain Quality Management Program documentation in the appropriate places, ensuring no duplication and that accurate information is maintained as well as ensuring all documentation meets strict issue protocols.

Evaluate the Quality Management System objectives in conjunction with the Senior Management team ensuring continuous improvement, adaptation and monitoring of performance against set objectives.

Manage the reporting and closing off of non-conformances, investigating repeat ‘bad’ practices and reworks/ECNs, proposing recommendations for improvements and assisting the Management team to change any disconcerting cultures.

Report to the Senior Management Team/the Board of Directors any serious Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental breaches (in conjunction with the Facilities Manager).

Be responsible for ensuring full compliance and liaison with external agencies as required.

Act as Health and Safety champion, highlighting any areas of concern with regard to Health and Safety to the Facilities Manager.

Conduct quality checks on the Factory floor and in store, goods in Quality Control, reporting at the weekly Management Meeting.

Work towards all Quality objectives as agreed with the Managing Director.
