Produce finished roof lights to company schedules and drawings, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and following the company's ISO quality policy.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights (training provided)
- Ensure work area is tidy and organised
- Store products and components in a way that does not lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard
- Carry out any reasonable request given by Line Supervisor
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Excellent time management skills
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Able to work in a target driven environment
- Good verbal and written English
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures/practice
Desirable
- Forklift licence (training provided if not and if required)
- Abrasive wheels experience
Hours of Work
Full-time – 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day from 07:30 am to 3:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
From minimum wage, dependent on skills & qualifications. Employee benefits include:
- After a successful probation period, inclusion in auto-enrol pension scheme with Company paying 4%
- 20 days holiday with an extra day for every full year worked and eight paid bank holidays.
