Overall Role or Purpose of the job:
- Operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights (training provided)
- Ensure work area is tidy and organised
- Store products and components in such a way as not to lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard
- Carry out any reasonable request given by Line Supervisor
Essential:
- Good verbal and written English
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures/practice
Desirable:
- Forklift licence (training provided if not and if required)
- Abrasive wheels
Hours of Work: Full-time - 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day from 07:30 am to 3:30 pm
Pay: From minimum wage, dependent on skills & qualifications
Employee benefits:
- After a successful probation period, you will be included in our auto enrol pension scheme in which the Company pays 4%
- 20 days holiday with an extra day for every full year worked along with eight paid bank holidays
