About Glaze Digital

We are a Shopify-focused agency specialising in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) and retention marketing. We work with e-commerce brands to improve their stores, increase conversions, and build customer loyalty. Our clients range from growing DTC brands to established retailers. We are a small, remote team that values clarity, quality work, and getting things done without unnecessary faff.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day client delivery. You will be the main point of contact for our clients, managing projects from brief through to completion, and working closely with our design and development team to keep everything running smoothly. This isn’t a coordination role; you will have real ownership. That means managing client relationships, quoting for work, making decisions on scope and scheduling, and being accountable for delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Own client relationships day-to-day: regular updates, managing expectations, handling the tricky conversations
  • Onboard new clients and get projects set up properly from the start
  • Quote for smaller pieces of work and manage scope discussions
  • Schedule and prioritise work across the design and development team
  • Manage the team’s workload, capacity, and priorities
  • Keep projects on track and flag issues before they become problems
  • Report back to clients with meaningful updates (not just status for the sake of it)

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • 2-4 years of project management experience in a digital or web agency
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects at the same time
  • Direct client communication experience; you’ve had the difficult conversations, not just observed them
  • Understanding of Shopify and how e-commerce works (you don’t need to be a developer, but you need to understand the platform)
  • Comfortable with commercial conversations, quoting, scoping, pushing back on scope creep
  • Experience actually managing people, not just coordinating with them

Nice to have:

  • Background in e-commerce or Shopify agencies specifically
  • Understanding of CRO and conversion optimisation
  • Experience with Notion, Slack, and Basecamp

Tools We Use

Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, Basecamp, Shopify.

What We Offer

  • £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
  • Fully remote working
  • A small team where you’ll have genuine ownership and impact
  • Interesting e-commerce clients across different sectors

This Role Probably Isn’t For You If...

  • You’ve only worked in-house or client-side; agency life is a different pace
  • You prefer to work on one project at a time; you’ll be juggling several
  • You need close supervision; we want someone who can run with things
  • You’re uncomfortable having direct conversations with clients about money, scope, or timelines.

How to Apply

Send us:

  • Your CV
  • A short note (a few sentences is fine) explaining why you’re interested and what makes you a good fit

No need for a formal cover letter. We’re more interested in how you think and communicate than perfect formatting.
