Position Summary
At GSK, we are transforming how we generate evidence and accelerate the delivery of medicines and vaccines to patients. As a Senior Product Owner within Development Operations and DevCMO Performance, you will own the vision and roadmap for the digital products that power data-driven decision-making and operational predictability across our development engine. You will translate complex operational challenges into elegant, high-impact digital solutions, partner with leaders across Development Operations, DevCMO and Technology, and put trusted data at the heart of how decisions get made. We value clear communicators who lead with empathy, act with integrity, and stay relentlessly focused on impact for patients and science. This role offers growth, visible enterprise impact, and the chance to help unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
Responsibilities
- Own and continually evolve the product vision and roadmap for performance and operational-intelligence solutions across Development Operations and DevCMO, balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategy.
- Translate business priorities and complex operational challenges into a clear, well-sequenced backlog — defining crisp product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead agile delivery end-to-end, partnering with engineering, data and design to ship high-quality, predictable outcomes at enterprise scale.
- Build and nurture strong partnerships across Development Operations, DevCMO, Technology and senior stakeholder groups, aligning diverse priorities behind a single, shared product direction.
- Deliver intuitive tools and dashboards that surface actionable insight, improve operational predictability and elevate decision-making for development leaders.
- Continuously enhance products by combining quantitative data, user feedback and analytics — measuring outcomes, not just outputs.
- Champion data-driven ways of working and embed governance, quality and compliance appropriate to a regulated R&D environment.
Why You?

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in product ownership, business analysis or digital delivery, including owning products from concept through to adoption.
- Demonstrated experience leading agile delivery teams and acting as the voice of the customer.
- Industry experience with data, analytics, or reporting solutions and translating them into clear decisions.
- Experience delivering within regulated environments, with an appreciation for quality, validation, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, align and build consensus among senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical operations, development operations or pharma R&D.
- Familiarity with study execution, portfolio planning, or development performance management.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools or modern analytics platforms (for example Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire).
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics applied to operational decision-making.
- A track record of scaling digital products across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated commitment to user-centric design and to building inclusive, collaborative ways of working.
