Responsibilities
- Lead key activities to progress your career within the Oncology pipeline, including:
- Provide statistical support to Project Statisticians and study teams across the oncology portfolio.
- Contribute to the design and analysis of clinical trials across all development phases using a wide range of statistical approaches, including Bayesian methodology.
- Use simulations and advanced statistical methodology to inform trial design and risk assessment.
- Develop and review statistical analysis plans, protocols, and sample size calculations for oncology clinical trials.
- Collaborate closely with study teams (programmers, data managers, clinical colleagues) to ensure deliverables are accurate, high quality and meet agreed timelines.
- Apply standard processes to tasks to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO or biotechnology industry.
- Practical experience in statistical programming (R, Python) and model implementation.
- Hands‑on experience with simulation methods and study design for clinical development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Statistics or a closely related field.
- Experience with Bayesian methods, advanced predictive modelling or causal inference.
- Track record of methodological innovation or contributions to publications.
- Experience within the oncology therapeutic area.
- Experience with phase II and III clinical trial analysis.
