You will lead regional vaccines medical affairs for one specific asset. You will work closely with global, regional and local teams to shape medical strategy, evidence generation and scientific engagement. We value clear scientific judgement, collaborative leadership and a focus on patient benefit. Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver European medical plans to meet local patient and healthcare needs.
  • Define and prioritise evidence generation with R&D, real‑world evidence and clinical teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, external experts and patient groups.
  • Ensure strong medical governance for regional studies, review and scientific materials.
  • Support launch readiness and lifecycle planning for vaccines.
  • Lead medical strategy for vaccines for one specific asset and ensure alignment with global priorities.
  • Translate scientific evidence into clear, practical medical activities and education.
  • Work with commercial, regulatory, LOC and market access partners to shape integrated plans.
  • Oversee design input and local delivery for clinical and real‑world studies.
  • Represent the region in global forums and bring Europe insights into strategic decisions.
  • Manage medical risk and ensure ethical, compliant scientific communication.

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or public health.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs, vaccines or other therapeutic areas.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with global and local stakeholders.
  • Experience in external engagement with healthcare professionals and scientific networks.
  • Experience in evidence generation, clinical trials or real‑world studies.
  • Experience translating complex scientific information into clear written and verbal communications for varied audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior LOC experience in vaccines medical affairs.
  • Experience leading launch planning and lifecycle management for vaccines.
  • Familiarity with European regulatory and reimbursement environments.
  • Track record in publications, congress planning and scientific communications.
  • Use of real‑world evidence or health outcomes data to influence strategy.
