GSK Barnard Castle is a key secondary manufacturing site and has invested heavily in industry 4.0 state of the art, bespoke equipment to support sustained new product introductions and volume increases. As a key supplier of some of GSK’s blockbuster products, the site contributes revenues of ~$2Bn annually. As a Product Owner, you will implement and maintain the control strategy for a range of drug products. You will be responsible for driving the production process lifecycle management for next generation and continuous improvement of drug product manufacturing. This position offers a valuable opportunity to take on significant responsibilities that will advance your career.

In this role you will:

  • Provide technical oversight of our products and processes end-to-end, across sites, and throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitor the manufacturing process through Continuous Process Verification.
  • Identify trends in the manufacturing process and implement pro-active technical solutions.
  • Serve as the owner of product, process, and raw materials ensuring the end-to-end view from incoming materials to finished product.
  • Own Technical Risk Assessment (TRA) and the Product Control Strategy (PCS).
  • Lead process robustness and yield improvement projects.
