As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will create and manage short-term production plans to meet customer demand while optimising flow and inventory. You will work with manufacturing, planning, procurement and quality teams to resolve issues and keep supply on track. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage schedules for production, material deliveries, and order fulfilment, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and regularly update critical data fields for visibility and accuracy.
- Monitor performance metrics such as schedule adherence and resource utilization, identifying root causes for missed targets and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across production, supply chain, and customer service teams to address scheduling conflicts and develop proactive solutions.
- Resolve operational issues, mitigating risks related to stock, material availability, and production capacity, while processing inventory write-offs when needed.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to manage changes, risks, and constraints.
Work Pattern
This role is based at a GSK UK manufacturing site at Montrose and regular on-site presence will be required to support manufacturing and team leadership.
