Global Supply Chain ERP (S/4 HANA) Business Change and Capability Head

Your normal place of work will be at GSK headquarters in London (United Kingdom) however for an initial period until the end of December 2026 the ERP Together Programme team will be temporarily based in premises in Chiswick. During this period, you may also be required to work from time to time at GSK HQ.

Background:

The ERP S/4 HANA programme has been established to transform the digital backbone of GSK over the next 5 – 6 years. The role will be responsible for the Communication, Change and Capability pillar of the Programme within the Global Supply Chain (GSC), working with senior stakeholders and business partners at many levels of the organization across both Pharma and Vaccines functions to lead, align and deliver successful change for GSK. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior level, experienced, influential, and dynamic communications and change leader to be part of a core team shaping the future direction of GSK’s supply chain.

Job Purpose:

The GSC ERP Business Change and Capability Head will be responsible to develop and drive the Communications, Change Management and Capability build across the Global Supply Chain in support of the ERP S/4 HANA Programme. This role will be accountable for developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of the ERP system while minimizing resistance. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leadership, project teams, and key stakeholders to drive successful organizational change initiatives that align with GSK’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing Communications, Change Management and Capability Development frameworks, approaches, plans and deliverables taking an agile approach through different program phases.
  • Responsible for working with Communications partners across GSC to shape and deliver overall ERP Transformation storyboard and communication plans.
  • Developing an innovative approach to Communications for different stakeholder groups across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and Strategy functions.
  • Owning and driving the stakeholder engagement process, communications plans, knowledge transfer and training plans.
  • Leading and enabling the sizing and assessment of the change impacts and the delivery of change interventions.
  • Developing the vision for our future Digital Capability and embedding skills and capabilities.
  • Identify training needs and align with ERP training programs.
  • Leading the Change journey of the Transformation Team and equipping them with the capability to be effective change leaders.
  • Maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Role modelling GSK Behaviours with an enterprise mindset.
  • Establish metrics and track the performance of change initiatives.

Job Related Experience

  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering communications strategies for large change programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing change management across dispersed organisations.
  • Experience in defining and delivering capability and training programs in a digital or technology related discipline.
  • Proven Leadership and people management skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident and resilient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualifications in Communications and Change Management.
  • Relevant qualification of certification in Digital Communication.
