As the Finance Director – AI Acceleration & Value Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in helping to articulate and accelerate the adoption of AI across the Group. Working with the SVP for AI Acceleration, you will closely partner with them on a wide scope of topics that will ultimately help GSK move quicker to adopt new digital technologies that underpin our digital plan. In addition to this, you will be critical to the narrative regarding business outcomes that result from investments in digital and technological advancements (specifically Gen AI and AIML capabilities). You will be responsible for ensuring that the value generated from these investments is quantified and effectively communicated, showcasing GSK\'s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Finance partner to the SVP of AI Acceleration:
- Operate as the SVP’s CFO, engaging in all topics that will result in AI accelerated adoption across the Group (e.g. deployment approaches/ prioritisation of investments/ operating model decisions…)
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies align with the company’s broader goals and AI vision.
- Be the single point of contact for finance for the function, and drive investment/ financial performance/ forecasting
Develop and Implement AI Value Assurance Framework:
- Design and implement a robust value assurance framework that aligns with GSK\'s strategic objectives and digital transformation goals. Ensuring that the company can measure both short-term and long-term financial benefits.
- Agree performance metrics/ calculations to measure the value generated from digital and tech investments in priority AI areas
- Ensure the framework is adaptable to various digital and technology initiatives across the enterprise
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with finance (inc FLT), technology, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure a agreed single view on value creation
- Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP of AI Acceleration and other senior leaders, offering expert financial advice and insights on both operational and strategic decisions.
- Work with finance and non-finance teams to ensure financial aspects of AI and GenAI initiatives are well-understood and supported across the organization.
Build high trust, high challenge relationships across key senior stakeholder groups within the business units, Digital & Tech, and Finance.
Be the independent, enterprise voice in the room that helps pull multiple perspectives together to ensure the outcome is achieved. You will need to play an active leadership role, challenging and uniting multiple stakeholders.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Required to hold a qualified professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
- Significant progressive experience in finance partnering leadership roles, where you are currently partnering on a day-to-day basis with senior non-finance stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and drive change (e.g. experience of leading on a multi-business unit program, and having a significant network across GSKs business units (in a partnering content)
- Digital & Tech experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in order to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Applied experience in defining KPIs that underpin business process outcomes
