You will lead the design and delivery of business resilience programmes across our global operations. You will work closely with leaders across operations and functions to reduce risk, hasten recovery, and maintain critical services. • Partner with the business and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to shape, align, and integrate a coherent, intelligence led enterprise resilience approach—supporting business owned strategies through expertise, challenge, and cross functional coordination.
  • Act as the corporate centre of excellence to guide, uplift, and align Business Unit owned crisis and continuity capabilities—enhancing frameworks, standards, and expertise while ensuring ownership and execution remain within the business.
  • Coordinate deep intelligence, scenario analysis, and cross Business Unit risk interpretation to stress test, enrich, and elevate business owned risk strategies, strengthening enterprise risk visibility and decision making quality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who provides constructive challenge, governance discipline, and capability uplift, enhancing the quality, consistency, and maturity of risk identification, articulation, and management across all Business Units.
  • Oversee preparedness evaluation of critical third parties and work with Cyber Security on blended threat responses.
  • Provide metrics, reporting and narrative for ERM, risk and audit committees covering plan reviews, exercises and activations.
  • Champion a culture of preparedness and lead the Crisis Management Community of Practice.
  • Leverage technology and automation to simplify the resilience programme and benchmark against industry standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Risk Management or related field.
  • Significant experience in crisis management, emergency response or related disciplines within complex organisations.
  • Proven track record leading teams and managing high-pressure situations.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301 lead) highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks and international standards relevant to crisis and resilience.
  • Demonstrable experience in horizon scanning, recognising emerging risks and developing pragmatic solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, including public speaking and media handling.
  • Calm under pressure with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Strong organisational, project management and IT literacy – familiarity with crisis management software/tools.

  • Experience working in regulated environments, especially pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

  • Experience leading supplier resilience and third-party continuity assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using metrics to drive improvement.
