You will lead vials filling and inhalations operations at a GSK manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. You will manage day‑to‑day production, quality, safety and staffing while coaching your team to improve. You will work closely with quality, engineering and supply chain colleagues to deliver on‑time and compliant output. We value clear leadership, practical problem solving and a people‑first approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead vials filling and inhalation device production to meet safety, quality, schedule and cost targets.
- Coach and develop frontline leaders and operators to build capability and support career growth.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through clear procedures, checks and collaboration with quality teams.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, yield and reduce waste.
- Support new product introductions and transfers with engineering, quality and supply chain colleagues.
- Own operational staffing plans, shift rostering and performance metrics reporting.
Basic Qualification
- Significant experience managing production or operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in filling, aseptic processing, or inhalation device operations.
- Proven experience leading teams, including coaching and performance management.
- Practical knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering continuous improvement or productivity projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions.
Preferred Qualification
- Degree or vocational qualification in a technical, scientific or engineering discipline.
- Experience with aseptic filling, vial handling, or inhalation device assembly in pharma or medical devices.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Experience with shift‑based teams and complex rostering.
- Involvement in new product introductions, scale‑up or facility transfers.
- Familiarity with electronic batch records or manufacturing execution systems.
