The Fleet Safety Analyst will serve as the US Commercial liaison for field and site fleet compliance activities to help ensure our fleet drivers return home safely each day. This role works in a matrixed environment to provide tactical support for GSK/ViiV US and Canada primary, secondary, and site-based drivers. The role will be involved in GSK/ViiV’s journey to enhanced sustainability through increasing the use of plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles and the introduction of telematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, communicate and enforce North America fleet safety programs that maintain the safe operations of company-provided vehicles and ensure the safety of all employees who drive them.
  • Handle day-to-day fleet safety issues that arise, bringing about effective resolution (e.g., vehicles delivered/collected in a timely manner from starters/leavers, accidents and other incidents are handled with urgency and according to GSK/ViiV policies).
  • Be an active and contributing member of the Fleet Safety Governance Board by providing regular updates on fleet safety performance.
  • Maintain and manage Fleet policies and procedures, Fleet training, and Fleet Safe Driver recognition programs, annual insurance registration update/renewal & bi-annual vehicle inventory for Corporate Insurance & Risk Management (CIRM).
  • Manage accident reporting, vehicle repair, loss recovery, subrogation, and regulatory compliance (i.e., Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) for MVR screening, HR recruiting pre-employment screening, and Accident Review Board).
  • Ensure fleet management internal websites and applicable supplier websites are current with updated policy and accident reporting instructions.
  • Ensure Canadian driver communications are compliant with Canadian law and include French translation as required.
  • Collaborate and partner with GSK Tech/IT to maintain and enhance fleet VISION database and automation of fleet processes to enforce compliance of fleet safety policy requirements.
  • Manage data feeds and daily interfaces with Fleet Safety suppliers (Holman, Element (CEI), Broadspire, and Alliant).
  • Conduct end-to-end business process reviews to identify key controls, evaluate adequacy of these controls, articulate and prioritize control gaps, and partner with subject matter experts to develop corrective and preventative action plans to remediate control gaps.
  • Establish and manage effective relationships with other areas (e.g., sales leadership, HR, Legal, EHS Compliance) in GSK/ViiV to ensure alignment of controls related to Fleet Safety.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience preferably in fleet operations.
  • Requires a technical and strategic skill set, preferably with fleet expertise.
  • Knowledge of risk management techniques a plus.
