We pride ourselves in delivering great customer service and consistently high standards throughout our stores and forecourts.

We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team at Junction Service Station Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton, Nottingham. NG10 3JX. The Store Manager's main responsibility is to manage a retail convenience store and forecourt, leading the team to set consistently high standards and delivering excellent customer service while promoting sales and leading the financial performance of the store.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally experience in retail
  • Flexible to work between Monday to Sunday
  • Right to work in the UK

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing in-store facilities to ensure brand standards are met
  • Meeting targets, managing costs, wages, waste, and cash shortages
  • Managing stock, ordering and deliveries, ensuring all shortages and damages are reported within the correct timelines
  • Ensuring customers are served quickly and professionally with excellent customer service
  • Recruiting and managing the performance of your team, ensuring the correct level of training for their role
  • Ensuring all daily cashing and banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines
  • Maximizing sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising and in-store promotions
  • Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner, covering all aspects of food safety
  • Managing the store and forecourt to ensure high standards are met
  • Overseeing fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
  • Managing the retail sale of alcohol
  • Overseeing food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products
