THE ROLE
Do you find real satisfaction in a perfectly organised stockroom? Does a clean, logical stock layout genuinely make your day? If so, this could be the role for you. As our Stock & Order Fulfilment Operative, you'll be at the heart of our warehouse operation in Haggerston – handling the full lifecycle of our stock with care, precision, and pride. From receiving and quality-checking inbound deliveries to picking, packing and dispatching customer orders, you'll keep our stockroom running like clockwork. Reporting to the Order Fulfilment & Warehouse Coordinator, this is a hands-on, floor-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes genuine ownership of the space around them.
Work Schedule: Based at our Haggerston warehouse. 40 hours per week (5 x 8-hour shifts), Monday–Sunday, 7am–8pm. Weekend and late-night shifts are required. This is a 6-month temp contract.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own the cleanliness and organisation of the stockroom – maintaining a logical, navigable layout that you're proud of every single day.
- Receive inbound deliveries and carry out thorough quality control checks, ensuring every item is logged and stored correctly.
- Execute inbound and outbound stock transfers, including accurate documentation and filing.
- Assist with regular stock takes – you'll love the satisfaction of a perfectly reconciled count.
- Process customer returns: assess condition, log accurately, and route each item back into stock or for write-off.
- Handle faulty item workflows from logging through to repairs and reintegration into stock.
- Support management with stock write-offs in line with finance and operations guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and brilliantly organised at all times – this is non-negotiable.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with speed, accuracy, and attention to brand presentation standards.
- Assist with courier claims for lost or damaged parcels.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You're a natural organiser. You notice when something is out of place.
- You take pride in keeping things tidy, accurate, and efficient – not because you're told to, but because it genuinely matters to you.
- 1–2 years' experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or ecommerce fulfilment role – with a genuine love of stock organisation and inventory accuracy.
- A meticulous eye for detail, especially when it comes to stock counts, QC checks, and documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without letting standards slip.
- Experience using basic warehouse or order fulfilment software and excel.
- A collaborative, team-first attitude and a drive to get things done properly.
- Physical stamina – comfortable on your feet all day and able to lift and move boxes as required.
- A highly reliable work ethic and a positive, proactive approach.
