We are expanding our production capability and looking for skilled and meticulous Operators to join the team at Saint-Gobain Glass Solutions. You will support the day-to-day running of our manufacturing facility, helping us deliver high-quality glass products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company committed to excellence in both our products and customer service. Based at our Dudley site, we have permanent opportunities available on both double day and night shifts and offer career progression, and a workplace that prioritises safety and team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Operate machinery and tools to cut and process glass safely and effectively, following all training and guidance.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with all Health & Safety policies and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Carry out daily checks on equipment and machinery, reporting defects, accidents, or near misses immediately.
- Handle materials safely, including moving, storing, loading, and unloading glass products.
- Strive for "right first time" quality, reporting issues promptly and helping investigate and resolve problems.
- Work collaboratively with your team, demonstrating a positive and helpful attitude at all times.
- Be flexible to cover other roles during peak periods, absences, or holidays, including occasional overtime or weekend shifts.

- A responsible, proactive "can-do" attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely at all times.
