Glassmoon Services Ltd has exciting opportunities for a Team Leader at our new service in Newton Abbot. The successful candidate will deliver a combination of direct support and management time, varying with the needs of the Service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Service Manager to ensure individuals within our care are enabled to live their best lives, building confidence, resilience, and supporting expression in positive ways while maintaining personal interests through person‑centred care aligned with our person‑led support model.
  • Provide leadership to the care team within Glassmoon Services Limited.
  • Provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies, procedures and agreed standards under the support and direction of Glassmoon Services.
  • Supervise the service you are allocated to within Glassmoon Services Ltd in accordance with agreed standards.
  • Support and enable the People We Support to maintain skills and personal interests, delivering person‑centred care unique to each individual.
  • Maintain current skills, engage with learning and development as required to progress knowledge.
  • Carry out completion of required systems and processes around safety, including weekly and monthly checks, documentation and risk assessments.
  • We are a BILD and Restraint Reduction Network Community of Practice member, striving for best practice in all that we do for individuals we support.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience after Level 3 in post, and a willingness to work towards the achievement of Leader in Adult Care, Level 5.
