Salary is £15.38 per hour, plus £100 per sleep-in shift & £50 supplement for On-Call shifts. We are a real living wage employer and believe in paying everyone fairly, irrespective of age. Glassmoon Services Ltd has exciting opportunities for a Team Leader at our new service in Liskeard. The successful candidate will deliver a combination of direct support and management time, which varies depending on the needs of the Service.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Service Manager to ensure individuals within our care are enabled to live their best lives. This will include building confidence, resilience and supporting individuals to express themselves in positive ways.
- Support and enable the People We Support to maintain skills and personal interests, whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual, aligned with our person led support delivery model.
- Provide leadership to the care team within Glassmoon Services Limited.
- Provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the support and direction of Glassmoon Services.
- Supervise the service/s you are allocated to within Glassmoon Services Ltd in accordance with agreed standards.
- Maintain skills at a current level, engage with learning and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge.
- Carry out the completion of required systems and process around safety, weekly and monthly checks and documents within the service, completion of risk assessments.
We are a BILD and Restraint Reduction Network Community of Practice members, and strive for best practice in all that we do for individuals we support.
Requirements:- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience after completion of Level 3 in post.
- A willingness to work towards the achievement of Leader in Adult Care, Level 5.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Checks.
- References.
