As ESG Engagement Manager, you will enhance Glass Lewis' engagement offering, contributing to the development of research frameworks and methodologies for thematic ESG engagements. You will manage client relationships, oversee client deliverables, and play a critical role in shaping our commercial success. This position will report to the Senior Director in charge of the Stewardship team. This is a hybrid role; attendance at our London office will be required.
Responsibilities
- Client management: maintain and expand institutional investor client relationships, ensuring quality of deliverables and alignment with their goals
- Research leadership: create and refine frameworks for analyzing material ESG topics for thematic engagements
- Engagement leadership: lead key engagement meetings with corporate issuers on behalf of investor clients
- Active Stewardship Engagement: support the development of our ASE program
- Team development: support the professional growth of Stewardship team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in ESG research and engagement, or related fields
- Strong research background, with proven expertise in ESG topics
- Expertise in climate risk and natural capital, as well as other material ESG themes, in an investment context
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Ability to identify emerging ESG engagement trends in alignment with client demand
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
