SRG are recruiting for a QC Lab Manager to oversee a growing QC team at a major supplier of consumables to the Life Science industry. Based Near Port Talbot, this is an ideal opportunity for an Experience QC Specialist or manager to shape & develop a quality team and department.
The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and developing a growing QC team, instilling a culture of quality and driving continuous improvement activities.
Key duties will include:
- Managing a team of 4 QC analysts, providing guidance and overseeing day to day laboratory operations.
- Developing & validating new analytical methods.
- Ensuring GLP & GMP compliance and supporting QA activities
- Identifying improvement opportunities and driving continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- A degree or similar qualification / experience in a relevant scientific field.
- Proven experience in a senior, supervisory or leadership role within a GMP QC laboratory.
- Proficiency with HPLC, GC, Spectroscopy and an awareness of Microbiological testing.
- Thorough understanding of GLP, GMP & MHRA requirements.
