An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 LES Driver 2s to join our Deep Clean Teams on a permanent basis. NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services. Position Details
- You will drive and be responsible for a variety of vehicles, complete all relevant paperwork and carry out any associated labouring duties.
- You will transport people, goods, and materials to/from given locations as instructed and ensure that the daily scheduled work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.
- The location is city-wide, and candidates must be prepared to work at any Depot location as required.
- PLEASE NOTE, A DRIVING LICENCE IS AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT OF THIS ROLE.

Contract Details
- Weekly Hours: 37 per week
- Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm; and Friday, 8am – 3:30pm inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
- Annual Salary: £25,472.39
- Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts an annual non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH)
