Glasgow City Council wishes to appoint two Trainee Solicitors with training contracts commencing in September 2026. Applications are invited from graduates in Scots Law who hold, or will hold prior to September 2026, a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (preferably including a Public Administration elective) from a Scottish University.
These trainee posts will provide the opportunity to experience the wide remit of the Council's legal function including litigation, corporate, property and licensing work. The posts will offer dedicated seats within each of the above legal areas. All applicants will be required to undertake a Standard Disclosure Scotland check. It is anticipated that interviews will take place in late April/early May 2026.
