Job Description

Provide core technical support within the Design and Technology department and work flexibly across the school in all technician disciplines.

Responsible for whole school technical support in Design and Technology, Science, and Digital Technology, with due regard for Health and Safety.

Ensure support services are provided efficiently and in an organized manner.

This role primarily involves supporting practical work within the Design and Technology department, such as woodworking, metalworking, and design and manufacture. Relevant qualifications and experience include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metalworking, and mechanical maintenance.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is essential upon appointment. Successful candidates will be required to pay for PVG membership or scheme checks.
