The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role in the modern school environment in providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional support needs to access the curriculum. The main duties and responsibilities include the provision of care and support to children and young people within the school, whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour. This position also includes the provision of limited/minimal assistance with the supervision and administration of medication and intimate personal care.
Please note this position is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
