Glasgow City Council are seeking to recruit Support for Learning Worker to work directly supporting the daily tasks of a class teacher along with the children. The post will be 27.5 hours term time.

The Support for Learning Worker will also play a key role in the modern school environment in providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional support needs to access the curriculum. The main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting direct tasks instructed by the class teacher
  • The provision of care and support to children whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour
  • Provision of support with the supervision and administration of medication and intimate personal care

Please note successful candidates are required to pay for their PVG Scheme Membership/Scheme Checks and regulatory body membership.
