The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role within the mainstream primary and additional support needs primary and secondary school environment in providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional support needs to access the curriculum. Additional Support Needs Schools can range from Complex Learning Needs to Additional Learning Needs.

The main duties and responsibilities will include the provision of care and support to children/young people whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour. The position also includes the provision of support for the supervision and administration of medication and personal care.

Please note that successful candidates will be required to pay for the costs associated with PVG Scheme Membership/Checks and regulatory body registration where required.
