Glasgow City Council is recruiting a dynamic and ambitious Night-time Economy (NTE) Manager to lead the delivery of the city's strategic vision for the sector. Based in the Council’s Economic Development division, the postholder will work closely with the Night-time Economy Commission and public, private and third-sector partners.

The NTE Manager will provide strategic leadership for the development, coordination and delivery of the Nightshift: Glasgow workplan, helping ensure that the city is vibrant, inclusive, safe and economically productive after dark. The successful candidate will convene and lead multi-agency partners, oversee the delivery of priority actions and provide strategic advice to senior officers and elected members.

They will have experience of working within the Night-time economy or a related field, such as hospitality, culture, events, placemaking, regeneration, public engagement, destination management, BIDs, town centre management, communications or partnership development. They will possess, or quickly develop, a strong understanding of Glasgow's night-time landscape, together with the ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
